Our Projects
Working with Comic Relief, we co-funded a research report by Women in Sport, the UK’s top research and insight charity helping women and girls to get active, into the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on teenage girls’ activity levels and, specifically, their engagement with digital support.
We then partnered with step-counting and rewards app Sweatcoin and This Girl Can Leeds to design a 10-week behaviour change programme with the girls’ input, where they could gain rewards and win prizes for walking. We carried out research and learned a lot about how girls feel about transport and leisure walking, whether incentives work and their use of apps.
We continue to seek innovation projects in this space that can help us better understand girls’ attitude to digital support to empower them to be more active.
